The only reason we rented this movie was because of the familiar 'big' names [more like has beens] and the seemingly interesting premise. A young man is stopped by a policeman and a body is found in his trunk. He is subsequently arrested and under questioning, spins an elaborate tale that takes viewers through the last couple of days - he and his new bride are both on their honeymoon, and weird things start happening. This includes most notably, the deaths of people they come across - the young man blames all the deaths on his bride, a young woman who acts strangely and seems to spout Bible verses, who is a strong believer in the sanctity of marriage and who appears emotionally detached when receiving bad news.
The movie is unrated, and there aren't any explicit scenes. The movie is basically a B-grade thriller without much thrills, and some Lifetime movies were better made than this piece of drivel.
The so-called big names - Roy Scheider plays the motel manager, Eric Roberts has a brief cameo as a loud-mouthed businessman, Tia Carrere plays a voice instructor/guest at the motel who lusts after the young couple, and Darryl Hannah as half of a couple who stay at the motel. All of these familiar faces are rather wasted in this movie - all of them have interesting but undeveloped roles and all of them meet an untimely demise...leaving one to ponder and sort out - who exactly is the killer? There is an abrupt twist at the end, but even that doesn't save this poorly acted [by the two leads, the names of whom I can't remember], weak excuse of a thriller.
