I personally loved every minute of this CD. I own all of their CDs and none of them have been less than fantastic. I love Chevelle!

Loved these Chi-town guys' last two records to death. This one has some of the same elements, but things have changed. And I can't tell what. But for some reason, the number of catchy, memorable songs has seriously decreased. The album has strong points, but a couple more weak ones.

I know very few people who have heard of Chevelle and it boggles my mind as to why they haven't. Vena Sera is by far one of my favorite albums. I have a ton of music and for some reason I will always come back to this and listen to it when I can't figure out what to listen to on my way to work because it will always wake me up or calm me down. Another review mentioned listening to it more than twice and I agree, this is the type of album that after the first 2 listens it gets better and each song starts to stand out on it's own but in a 'magic-eye' kind of way. You know those old magic-eye pictures where you look at it for awhile and see 'a pony' or a pirate ship? Not the best description but the only one I can think of at the moment. I know that sounds negative but I swear it's really the only way to describe how great this album really is. I always seem to hear something new when I listen to this album and that for me makes it a easy and adventurous listen. Perfect driving music and a all around great Rock Album. It never disappoints me and I have yet to play it enough and I think I've listened to it close to 500 times or more.
