this race track is amazing. i got it for my soon to be three year old, but all 4 of my kids (9,5, 2, and 17 mos.) love it. the cars really whip around the track. as others have said, it works really well with typically sized diecast cars (lighning mcqeen, sally, chick, etc.), so it's nice to be able to use something you already have instead of re-buying different cars to go with a certain track (like shake and go)... i would highly recommend this for any cars fans. i thought it looked cheap in the store, but it's holding up well and the play value is definitely high.

My 3 year old son is very much a 'Cars' fan. He has collected most of the diecast cars and I wanted to get him something he could interact with. Who knew this toy would be such a hit. At first i thought for sure he would become bored watching the cars circle around the track. Not the case, he enjoyed watching the cars circle round and then added in more cars then would get them to crash and then we would do car crash scenes with it. When he plays with this toy he is taken in by it for 1/2 hour or more at a time. My only criticism is that the feet have broken and I wish that the wheel mechanism could operate at more than one speed. Otherwise highly recommend this.

My son received this for Christmas a year ago when he was 4. This was THE present that Christmas - the one that got played with for hours and hours. He is a HUGE LMQ fan and just loved watching the cars race around the figure-8 track (we have had a few go airborne, so watch out for that). It is pretty sturdy and you can put several cars on the track at once. It folds in half which is nice for storage. He is now 5 and while he still plays with it, he's ready for a larger race track. A great gift for kids who are 2-5 years old.

We purchased this for our 4 year-old son for Christmas--WHAT A HIT! He loves it as well as his 2 year-old brother. It's easy for them to use on their own. They love watching the cars race and crash. The best part that it's been 9 months since he got it for Christmas and still plays with it regularly.

I would recommend it to anyone who loves the movie "Cars" and toy cars.

This is the only race track I've ever found that works great right out of the box. My four-year old loves it. True it doesn't work with any Hot Wheels cars, only the Pixar cars, but that's okay, too. My son stuck a *golf ball* in the track and it works too. So that's the competition for the McQueen car until we get it home. It's sure noisy, though. I SAID IT'S NOISY!
