For many listeners, like myself, this album and especially the title track "Feels So Good" provided the introduction of the horn and jazz. This album was timely as it was a fusion of talent display, great jazz progressions, while staying consistent with the music style of its day.
The song, "Feels So Good" is legendary because it is the first song that comes to mind when one thinks of horn and mainstream jazz. It truly put Chuck Mangione on the map.
All tracks have the jazz session musician feel. As a listener, you are drawn in (no matter how many times you've heard it) - as if you were there in the studio with the players.
Thanks Chuck and band for countless hours of enjoyment with this one!
